birthday boy...

Brady turned one years old this past week...I can't believe it! Here's a picture of my birthday boy posing so nicely for me!!!


Here's a few shots from his birthday party last Saturday...he was pretty confused when we all sang to him, but once we put a big piece of cake in front of him, his confusion quickly turned to glee!


I especially like the red frosting smeared all over...makes him look slightly cannibalistic!!!

busy weekend...

We are celebrating 3 birthdays this weekend...Tonight is CC's (my sil's) b-day. Tomorrow at lunch we celebrate my niece Sophie's 7th b-day...and tomorrow night we are celebrating my BABY boy's FIRST birthday!! I am getting a little sad about it, now that I've written it down...when they turn one, it's like the 'baby days' are over...maybe I should have just ONE more kid...just kidding Mother, just seeing if you're reading my blog!! hee hee.
In other news, I won a challenge at CatScrap, and the prize is a 3 month guest spot as there store CT. I am SO incredibly excited, I can't wait!

Back to Normal...

It's been awhile since I updated my little bloggeroo...whoops! Well, Kor came home just in time for ALL 3 kids to get sick...It's been a lovely week, full of fevers, coughing, snot and more tylenol than you can shake a stick at. Last weekend, the Klatt's took us to Disney on Ice...my first time. Poor little Lucy was in such a zone, she just looked miserable. She had a fever and a cough, but I know she would have been devastated if we didn't go...I mean, we already had the tickets! She enjoyed herself, even though she literally said 3 words all night!
For some reason, Brady woke up this morning with a black eye...it must have been some battle in his crib last night...and I'm pretty sure he lost. He has a cold and is not his usual cheery self...See the creepy swollen eye...I've had to stare at that puppy all day today. poor kid.

all by myself...

Well, it's day 2 of single parenting...not really liking it too much. Korey is with his folks in Atlanta for the Rental Convention. I won't see Kor until Friday afternoon. Today was not the best day. Riley pooped his pants, Brady fell down 1/2 a flight of stairs and bumped his tooth (he only has 3 for peets sake), and Lucy came down with some coughing/fever/achy virus...GREAT! And then, to top it off, Korey sent me a picture from his phone of the GORGEOUS looking piece of cheesecake that he was eating...at a restaurant...sans children. Okay, enough with the pity party...on with the pictures!
